Himachal Pradesh Cancels 172 Small Hydro Projects Over Delays and Non-Performance

The Himachal Pradesh government has taken a decisive step in cleaning up its renewable energy portfolio by officially cancelling 172 small hydro power projects. These projects, which had remained stagnant for years, faced repeated delays and failed to meet their development milestones. The cancellation affects projects that had not shown tangible progress despite being allotted long ago.
