MHADA Lottery 2024 Mumbai: Apply Online for Affordable Homes

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) is gearing up to launch its 2024 housing lottery, offering approximately 2,030 affordable homes in prime Mumbai locations. The application process will be conducted online, beginning August 9 and concluding on September 4 at 11:45 PM.

Available Locations:
The flats will be situated in highly sought-after areas including Malad, Powai, Vikhroli, Goregaon, and Wadala. The housing scheme will include a range of apartments from 1 BHK to 3 BHK, catering to different income groups.

Flat Categories and Distribution:
- Middle-Income Group (MIG): 768 units (primarily 2 BHK)
- Lower-Income Group (LIG): 627 units (mostly 1 BHK)
- Economic Weaker Section (EWS): 359 units (1 BHK)
- Higher-Income Group (HIG): 276 units (mostly 3 BHK)

Eligibility Criteria:
- EWS (Income up to ₹6 lakh per annum): Can apply for the EWS category.
- LIG (Income between ₹6 lakh and ₹9 lakh per annum): Eligible for LIG category apartments.
- MIG (Income between ₹9 lakh and ₹12 lakh per annum): Can apply for MIG category apartments.
- HIG (Income above ₹12 lakh per annum): Suitable for HIG category apartments.
