Dharavi Redevelopment Survey Deadline Nears: Final Call for Residents Before August 12

Dharavi Redevelopment Survey Ends August 12 – Late Registrations Still Welcome

The Dharavi Redevelopment Project is heading toward a major milestone as the survey deadline concludes on August 12, 2025. Conducted by Dharavi Redevelopment Project Pvt. Ltd. (DRPPL) in collaboration with Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA), this survey aims to identify eligible residents and structures for inclusion in one of the largest urban transformation projects in Asia.

To date, over 96,000 structures and residents have been surveyed, using drones, GIS mapping, and modern biometric verification systems. Despite the official deadline, authorities have clarified that late submissions will still be accepted, ensuring that no rightful resident is left behind in the massive resettlement and rehabilitation initiative.

This redevelopment plan, spearheaded by the Adani Group, aims to transform Dharavi into a sustainable, modern urban habitat with proper housing, infrastructure, and amenities. The residents, once eligible, will receive free rehabilitation housing, making it crucial for all stakeholders to participate before the window closes.

If you or someone you know still hasn’t registered, now is the last chance to be part of Dharavi’s transformation story.
